Has anyone ever tried/fitted these?

Are they any good?

Can't see how you'd fit them unless you've done a mk1 golf front coilover conversion??

They're the bolts for bolting the front hub to the suspension strut which mk2/3 polos dont have

So I can't see it being possible to fit on a mk2/3 without a hub conversion.

And they can't be used at the top mount either as its still the wrong type of strut.

Those look like they are for the 6N1/2 front struts not the MK2 suspension setup ??

I bought the same thinking that they were for a MK2 but they are for a hub that is bolted to the strut and not for the all in one strut. There are top mounts for the all in one strut but they cost an unreasonable amount. As an ex engineer I can not see how they can justify the cost. This style looks like it gives the option to adjust castor as well and is much more accessible when on the alignment equipment.

After talking to venom and remarking about the non possibility on fitment they're now removing these from mk2/3 polo listings on eBay and hopefully the website before more people unknowingly buy them :)

I know.. they even tried saying that they had sold some previously so how can they be wrong, But I sent them a picture of my front suspension and the reply was rather solemn about removing the listing lol

The listing is still there.

But I've seen sellers on eBay trying to pass off 6n coilovers as being suitable for a mk1-3 Polo. I wonder if anyone has just thought BARGAIN! and bought them for the £150 or whatever.

I've even seen a 'dealer' (I use the term loosely) selling a mk2f Polo and apparently the car came with coilovers ready to fit. Turned out to be cheap coilovers for a 9n...
