Right I know this is not to everyone's taste and I may feel a little bit of hate for it and I'd thought I'd grown out of it but the Croydon cruise bass junkie has erupted inside me again...

I sort of intend just to put up a small thread of what I do and maybe seek some advice on people that may have done an install in a Mk2

DONT WORRY NO 6x9s IN THE PARCEL SHELF WILL BE HAPPENING!!

After having much experience in using Auna components and amps from my, I hate to say.. Corsa days.. I shall be using them again.

Head Unit

I already use an Auna MD-180 head unit but suffer badly with not being able to see the display due to the dash angle.

So I will be changing over to an Auna MD-640 as it's much more simple on the face and has 4x RCA outputs to its advantage.

Amp

Currently undecided as I'm still deciding on what components and subs (passive/active I'm unsure)

However the Auna 10000W PMPO 6 Channel is a possibility as I wont put it under full demand as it is 6x600w or the Auna Silver Hammer 6600w as that is 5x600w. The next amp up is pure overkill at 6x1665w XD

Speakers

Currently have and old Auna GoldBlaster coxial 4x6 140w (I think) in the dash and 2 JBL GX642 120w in the original parcel shelf holders all these will be staying and the following is the purchased and debating purchasing

Auna Goldblaster 6.5" 1200w a pair and possibly Auna Goldblaster 5" 1000w a pair all depending on ability to hide them. But was assessing space under the dash for atleast one pair.

Subwoofers

2x Auna CD300-4BX Underseat Woofers 600w each these are passive Subs and require amping

Or

2x Old Auna 800w Sub components I have left over from 4 years ago which requires me to build a box for underseat installing.

Again I know this not to everyones taste but I intend to hide all evidence of an install apart from the centre dash speaker and headunit.

Any advice from people that have done this style of install would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm doing mine before the summer and shows, I'm actually putting 6x9s in my parcel shelf [emoji23], it's already cut from previous owner, so my plan is to fit them, and then felt over the top with Wooden support, can't wait to get it done, got an old sony cassette player but!, it's apparently what came in some polos, has 6disc changer and stuff(I won't be putting this in) but yeah I'll put some pics and stuff up when it's done
