Lol, these single pins you already can get for ages @VW.
They are normal parts in the etka.

I got them straight from my local dealer since the beginning of this century.

Using them for repairing wirelooms and even when i build a complete wireloom myself, for aftermarked Stuff or 3rd party equiptment.

and even the sealant rubbers for making the sockets real waterproofed.

These you can collect when you slaught a loom for example.

You can get the most usual pins @VW, some others somewhere else in the internet.

Even the non symetrical pins for older VW's you cannot get longer @VW for a couple of years.

Just on repairwires, but thats not an option for me. So better keep searching the web or the right dealers.

Here is what i mean, the left is the current version, the right the old version which you all know, they need also other tools to release out of the socket.

If you have the right presstool, you can keep your VW in original condition even in such small things like connectorsockets with pins......

Thats what i call OEM++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ in the smallest details you can have.

Nobody sees it, but you know what you have inside the car, under the carpet, in the dashboard and so on......

This could help someone. I found the exact crimp terminals used in the Polo Mk2 fusebox connector block behind the glove compartment

They are 'standard timer' terminals :

AMP 926965-1 for 0.5-1.5mm² wire

AMP 925612-1 for 1.0-2.5mm² wire

Detach the connector block, pull up the white bar, use a 2 prong terminal removal tool (like Laser 3932) and pop the terminals out

I've struggled so badly over the years with these terminals.

Laser tools also have a set of 11 extract tools specifically for VAG vehicles part number 4329 as that tool mentioned above will only release some of the pins/sockets found in VAG connectors as others require different sized prongs and some have offset depths for the locking tabs. You will also see on eBay some cheap ones usually sold in sets of 20+ these are of dubious quality and in my experience rarely work well
