Featured Replies

Hi chaps

Could anyone point me in the right direction for a hid kit for a 1999 polo 6n?

Thanks

not legal...but try ebay if you want one

As above without retrofitting automatic range adjusters & headlight washer system you'll not be legal, but if you do fit these you'll need a H4 Bi Xenon system

Cheers guys, probably just stay with standard

We find as long as they are installed correctly and bulb beam pattern is checked most don't have any issues if any at all with fitting after market HID kits.

One other thing to think about is installing LED Headlight Bulbs instead of HID to aid in beam pattern and usable light.

I checked with the mot tester at work about hids, the actual wording is if washers and self levelling are fitted they have to work, so if they were never fitted it should be fine. Make sure you get the ones with deflectors though or the beams end up all over the shop

Are they H4?

you you need projector headlamps.

I fitted them to my mk2f just fine and put them on a beam setter and they are okay
