I recently bought a nice 05 GT TD for work , wanting to do a few little things to keep it fun I drive .

On the list is :

312/256 brake upgrade.

Coilovers.

Front mount.

Decat.

GTi lip/skirt kit .

Anyway hopefully this forum is full of useful information and more helpful than uk-polos !

So far I have fitted an EGR/ASV delete.

Changed every front light to Osram nightbrakers.

Full service including gearbox oil.

New glow plugs.

Mild remap .

Still getting about 62mpg on a run and average 53 overall!

Wizardmanjm, yes the skyline is the weekend car.

I had a beat up e46 325i I was using for work and getting 29mph driving carefully , I needed something a little better on fuel and fun ...and the polo seemed to match the criteria !
