Hi all I recently gott a 1300 engine for my mk2f boulevard coupe breddy that is a runner but ii am planning on completely rebuilding it before I fit. Just need to know best and cheapest place for bits if anyone knows cheers mick

Best bet is GSF for all the engine rebuild bits, pretty much all of it is available off the shelf. Every weekend (fri-sun) they have 40-45% off using a discount code. if you sign up to there emailing list they send you the codes, the might be on the website anyway but worth checking.

If anything you need isn't on there it'll be on eBay, most of it is pretty good quality too. Only thing i haven't seen aftermarket is conrod bolts, VW sell them but they aren't cheap (80 quid a set). someone correct me if they know anywhere else lol

got most of my bits on ebay.de , gsf/ecp sales still couldnt touch the prices and you cant trust them to supply the right bits
