6n 1.6i/1.9D (or Lupo/Seat 1.7/1.9) Gearbox

Featured Replies

I'm gonna build a gearbox with my chosen ratios so i'm sourcing the parts. I already have two units but if i can find precisely what i'm after then all the better.

There are various codes of appropriate units in various small late '90s VAG cars, so tell me what you've got!

Finding the code on the gearbox is easy - just clean the area at the highest point of the casing with a soapy scourer pad, dry, and colour it in with a permanent black marker pen - it'll highlight the code like a black paint job highlights a dent!

Cheers
