Windscreen wipers Mk2 breadvan

Featured Replies

hi, nearly finished my bread van and it's now ready for MOT but I'm having trouble with wipers not working as they should when I got it from my nana she told me they only work on 1 setting and the wash wipe worked, so I got hold of another switch and now all the settings work I think but the wash wipe doesn't I have tested the pump and it's fine as are all the fuses so I put the old switch back in and they don't work with that one now. Does any one have any ideas? could someone shead some light on what the wipers should do in the differnt switch positions? And finally should the wash wipe position operate front and rear at the same time because this is what's happening. Cheers

That's odd, to operate the front wash wipe you pull the stalk towards you. For the rear, push it away from you. Shouldn't be both at the same time...

Also, stalk down to its bottom position is intermittent. Up one is off. Up again is constant. Up top is fast constant.

Can't really comment on the wiring though, I ain't sure, sorry :-(
