Hello guys, I'm Tyson Knight, originally from Edgbaston, Birmingham, but now living in Haverhill, Suffolk.
I've just got myself a Black 2003 VW Polo, a stock 1.4s 5dr, its done about 97k for about £1k, with only 3 previous owners since new & well looked after given its present condition, other than a few scratches, it looks & drives brilliantly.
I've owned a MK2 Astra 1.4(GTE look-a-like), a Modified Mk2 Fiesta 1.2L, but was banned for street racing back in 1999, I've only just got back on the road & this was my first purchase, as I got back on the road.

I worked in Car body repair & refinishing, construction, as a brick layer/laborer & scafolder, but in 2013 suffered a serious car crash, when my Missus sent our Alfa Romeo 147 into a telegrapgh pole at 120mph, we survived but my career has ended due to my injuries, so I foucused on making a living from my life long hobby in music production, but would love to get back into body repair, but sadly thats a dying trade in Haverhill.

When I approached a few friends of mine about tuning & styling my polo 'Lola', they also suggested I google 'Club Polo' & I have to say I like what I've found on here & on the facebook page, in fact the whole scene is fantastic, the Fords/Vauxhall lads dont compare, they seem quite anal in comparrison, but 'VAG' enthusiasts dont care what you drive or how stock your motor is, they are water-cooled & always willing to help each other with projects.

I have not had Lola long, I've driven her 172+ miles since buying her, but will be ready to begin work on her by early june at the latest & will be updating as often as I can over the coming months, in time for 2016 summer events, I hope to hear from you guys & meet some of you at club events through out the year, BIG RESPECT going out to all you 9N owners!
Peace.
TK & Lola x

Nice to meet you, cambridge, that makes us neighbours lol!!! :)

I have a few scratches to repair but over all its cosmetically clean.

Once all are taken car of, its just a matter of polishing & waxing the hell out her, so she literally gleams like a showroom car.

Hi & Welcome to the forum :)
