Not sure how I link this but just spotted a mk2 breadvan up for £1700 on e bay , so would you say tax scene or what ??

I've looked at this and I wouldn't say scene tax, just valuing it more than its worth but they are a dealer and obviously have marked it to make profit

I've seen that 'UKD' on eBay advertising Polos and other old VWs before. They overprice everything, which means they hold onto cars for a while. I suppose eventually someone will come along and pay it. It just won't be anyone in the 'scene' just someone with more money than sense.

Their place is next to my college in Bristol and I had a wander in there the other week when I was down there. There cars LOOK mint but may have mechanical gremlins you never know. They have some really really nice cars just I wouldn't be willing to pay their prices. If they knocked 700 off this one then I would actually buy it because it looks that good

I do agree with you all their cars look minted. But the Polos certainly are all poverty spec. Nothing special about them and nothing that can't be achieved by buying a £500 example off some old lady and a weekend of elbow grease.

But it does make me wonder how they would price a GT or a G40.

1700 but thebinsurance would value it at 400 so your in for a massive loss if it gets rear ended

I have wanted a mk2 for like ever but at these prices I am out of the game..

I wish that was genuinely what they were worth, I'd be selling my Mk2 breadvan tomorrow! haha.
