Recently bought a set of coupe s clocks to replace my standard ones. Is it a straight fit or will I have to wire in the rev counter separately? Thanks, Josh.

I would say on a mk2 you'd have to pick up a signal from the negative side of the dizzy. Well its what I had to do for my Mk2 bready to get the rev counter to work. But obviously may differ per vehicle.

Providing the car is standard then it should be a straight plug and play. If not then you'll need to pick up a signal from the coil and splice it into the clocks. I want to say pin 7 but I have to double check, it's a red wire with a black tracer anyway.

My diagrams show it as pin 5 on the Speedo unit but pin 7 of the bulkhead disconnect? but definitely a Red/Black wire

The car I got them off is an 88 coupe s, mine is a 90 parade. I've beenreading and it seems that the later cars are plug and play

If you have a Red/Black wire in pin 5 of the connector, then it will be PNP
