Hello all,

Just picked up a pretty grim 6kv5 sdi as a doer-upper / hobby / cheap transport to keep me out of trouble.

I know absolutely nothing and I'm figuring it all out as I go along. That applies to both tidying up the polo and using forums!

I'll try to contribute as much as I ask, as I learn stuff. Hopefully that will balance things out a bit!

It looks like the car has had a number of not very careful owners, so there will likely be a lot of tidying and fettling, buying and fitting of all sorts of bits to get the old tub back into some sort of shape.

Spent almost all day today cleaning the old girl's interior, and still probably have another full day on the job just before she's clean & no longer smells of stale cigarette smoke.

Every day I seem to unearth another 3 jobs. . . But I suppose that's normal!
