I'm putting a new unit in my 1989 VW polo, just wondering where the fuses are for it because I have no live

They are in th n\s skuttle tray opp side from battery

A lil square clear plastic that pulls off and loads of porcelain fuses, I think radio one is on bottom around middle

Right I ended up just bypassing it lol, I'm very inpatient haha, I'm now running one speaker from an amp and one to the head unit and my god it's load and has a lot of bass I'm chuffed now more portable speaker [emoji23]

Consider adding an inline fuse then, depending on the power of your setup you could find the current gets high when you ramp up the volume. Always a good idea to fuse stuff.
