So I have not brought a 4 branch ss yet for my Gt and still not sure if I will just thinking ahead while all my exhaust system is off waiting for new standard replacement sections mid and back box..

If I do it will be with lambda socket but my question is what happens to the pre heat pipe that goes to the existing manifold ?

some come with a small tube so you can keep it

so either cobble something up or leave it off , it wont make much differance on a inj car

Think it is the 6n ones that come with it

I use a cable tie at the radiator mount to direct a length of corrugated aluminised cardboard tube towards and resting with a bit of end splaying on the stainless down tube for cylinder number 1 (it is at 300+ degrees within a minute). Not had any carb freezing with that.
