Hey, been lurking on here a little while hoovering up the huge amount of useful info, so thought it was time for an introduction.

My names Nick, I'm 22 and live in Falmouth/Penryn, Cornwall. Recently got Mk2f Breadvan ( Purple :/ ) and just finished a bike carb conversion with homemade manifold etc and a load of other bits & pieces too.

Among other things I've mostly worked as a fabricator and motorcycle mechanic, although I'm now a full time marine engineer.

Found the forum while looking for help online with polo ignition systems...

Yeah I'll get some pictures up soon, at the moment I'm just testing and getting it jetted right, going pretty well though, massive improvement yesterday after drilling out from 105/102.5 (standard jets) to 112, hopefully there's a little more to come though.

And yeah there's so much information on here it's hard to take it all in, it was a massive help when getting my head around the ignition swap though (wirings not exactly my forte)
