So I am considering upgrading my headlights to the GTI projectors and hoping someone could share some info on the whole thing...

Firstly, what's the legal standpoint on this; in terms of police hassle as well as come MOT time actually passing?

Secondly, what sort of scale is the task/ how difficult is it? Any 'how to' threads about?

Last but not least, are there any other bits I might need? e.g. wiring adapters etc... I need or do they just plug in to any existing adapters/ harnesses.

To be MOT legal you'll need to install the rear axle beam sensor for the automatic range adjusters along with the wiring, headlight washers with the extra water reservoir, pump & wiring, you might have to cut the front panel to clear the ballast units, so none of it is plug n play :(
