hey all! first post here so please excuse dimness!!

I recently bought a slighty shabby 6n2 (speedily named pablo) as a little project/ daily runner as a favour to a mate... since having it I've obviously had a shed load of problems - luckily with the help of you guys, youtube and a haynes manual I've beasted through them all. HOWEVER today I removed my rocker cover etc to clean the hoses from my throttle body as seen in a post on here which has fixed my main issue, and upon returning everything to its rightful place and taking it for a spin discovered a horrible hissing air leak from somewhere!! I've pinpointed this to be the vacuum hose for the brake servo being badly split but am having a right ass of a time finding one - can anyone advise please? much apprecited!! bex x

You may well be able to buy a cut length of vacuum hose from your local motor factor, this is designed to withstand the crushing effect of atmospheric pressure from the outside, as opposed to other hoses, which are designed to withstand internal pressure - so make sure that you buy the right stuff.

Maybe try and get a bit of heat shrink on it to get you by.
