1991 Vw Polo Gt coupe. 101000 miles. Couple months mot so ready to drive away.

Loads of service history. Steel sliding sunroof. All original unmolested condition except for some tasteful choice mods. Mk2 scirocco GT front seats with the matching split rear genesis bench. Poly arb bushes, stainless braided brake hoses, 20mm master cylinder. Pipercross panel filter. Poloace ecu chip (have spare ecu with original chip also) de-cat (legal as registered pre Aug '91)

 

Will be very sorry to see it go, have owned it for 8 years now I think and it has been brilliant, the best car I've ever had and so much fun

Keyed on passenger door and rear quarter, dent in drivers side quarter and some minor damage around drivers door and lock barrel due to failed attempted break in. The lock still works fine but has external cosmetic damage however I do have replacement lock barrel I can include.

Other than that the car is pretty mint with absolutely no rust and solid.

4 new tyres within the last year and a new battery (4 year guarantee) 18 months ago.

Head gasket done approx two years ago and new timing belt and waterpump put on at the same time.

Can include a mountain of spares for the right price if interested. Things like distributor, fuel pump, afm, throttle body, injectors, fuel tank etc etc.

Looking for offers around £1000

Update:

Door lock has been repaired now and passenger side door replaced. Also have a replacement driver side door which will be included in the sale as will the replacement vinyl coverings for the b-pillars

A little unsure on exact mileage as the car is parked elsewhere at present but will update

Car also now sits on 13" vw zandvoorts but will include steels and wheel trims if wanted. will update with a picture

out of curiosity why are you selling this?

Not wanting to but I'm doing more miles nowadays and don't have the time to mess around with it so I need a car I can just drive and not worry about. I have a friend who said I could keep it on her driveway but I can't afford to pay to have two cars on the road so it would just sit there. :( sad times

If anyone wants this car but lives too far away, I'm happy to help get it up to the Midlands area for the cost of fuel and a train ticket home, or bring it to the polo social if it has a new mot by then.

Right, it's been brought to my attention that I have priced this a little optimistically. I don't want to have to go down the eBay route and need would like to see this go to a good home, so,

I am flexible with the price and can include all the spares etc or a choice of what you would like. Here is a brief (but not complete) of what I have:

Doors in correct paint code

Gt steels and trims

Ecu with standard chip

Fuel pump

Injectors and rail

Dizzy

Afm

Throttle body with tps

Alternator

Starter

Etc etc (lots of other bits like coil, blue temp sender..and so on)

Countless other bits of trims and stuff

Need this gone this weekend so bump for price drop, £1000 ono
