LITTLE TED My pride and joy 6n

Featured Replies

Little ted was my grandads (ted) car

in about 2012 I got given him as my gdad had a major stroke.. Gutted that i was taking his pride and joy i decided I would make him my pride and joy and really look after him for my grandad..

Unfortunately my gdad passed away last year 11th august so he couldnt see the major changes i made..

Anyways enough of the sad stuff little ted is being looked after well..

A few bits are going on him but he'll be put away in the garage and will be worked on while he rests

The exhaust has lost all of its internal hair haha it was like something out of a horror movie seeing all the hair/stuffing come out

The engine sounds like it has a cow stuck in it

The locks have gone and so has the passanger window

And he cuts out when its wet, or too much power is being used such as heaters lights etc or going down to a low gear sometimes

Any suggestions about how i can fix it (except exhaust haha) would be great but heres some pics of my bad boy

The door locks will probably be the tab that goes into the locks have snapped, plenty of repair kits on ebay.

Window, wiring between the door and body inside the flexy rubber tube, the motor? or broken clips on the mechanism, again repair kits on ebay.

Engine, dizzy sensor failing, poor plug leads/plugs/dizzy cap, coil unit ? also check the alternator wiring and the main battery & engine earth points

The sliders on the window mechanism might benefit from some grease?
