Hi all I have a 6n afh I need some advise on ignition coils

i have a single type coil and I'm wanting to upgrade to a better type as it's the third standard type coil in a year I've had go on me thanks in advance

I don't fully understand your question - All of the 6Ns have a single ignition coil, but it does incorporate an ignition amplifier.

Where did you get the 1'm from?

It seems rather strange that you have got through three ignition coils in one year.

Could it possibly be that the actual fault is something other than the coil, and by replacing the coil, you have inadvertently 'cured' the other problem - albeit on a temporary basis. The sort of thing that I am thinking about here, are items like the actual connections to the coil, if there were a poor or broken connection there, it may be possible that the act of moving the plug makes the connection again.

Someone else may be able to tell you what the 1'm is all about, but it is new to me.
