Hi all - have recently acquired '86 breadvan sporting a pathetic 35K - it's been laid up in a garage sine 2007 and hadn't exactly seen much use before that - it's in exceptional condition but was laid up as it wouldn't run right - odd that the diy fairy with no knowledge had been at it - cam timing miles out, carb horribly fiddled with amongst many other crimes....

 

Got it running happily now  but am having to change the fuel filter every  30 miles  - was starting to think the tank may have to come out....but rate of accumulated crud slowing nicely.....

 

It'll be staying bog standard......would start a project thread but not exactly much to do!!

 

Anyway...... I can't find the sticker in the boot, and no one bothered to fill out the service book properly so I'm guessing a bit on the paint code / name - is this stratos?

I'm not totally sure but it could be Stratos Blue Metallic LA5Z/Y9 or Steel Blue Metallic LB5T/J4.

Looks like regatta blue. Have a look in the boot, it's amazing how often the data sticker is still there (under the boot silk).
