centre bore question

Featured Replies

Hi, I know centre bore on vw's is 57.1 but can anyone tell me if a wheel off a corsa will fit? Centre bore of wheel is 56.6 so only 0.5mm smaller, my standard steel wheels seem

to have a tiny bit of play on the hub with bolts removed, so thought 0.5mm would not be too much of an issue? Anyone fitted these or similar? & if so do they go on ok?

Any help or advice appreciated, thanks in advance,

Adrian.

I thought Vauxhalls had a massive centre bore of 60 something mm?

Anyway the difference of 0.5mm is very small as you know. Maybe with a wire brush over the hub and a tickle with sandpaper over the alloy with get it to a point where it will fit on.

Thanks for your input, yes Vauxhall centre bore is 65.1 for 5 stud wheels but earlier 4x100 pcd were 56.6 according to whichwheels website, I guess the

only way to know for sure is to try 'em on! + I'm sure a flappy wheel on a drill for the wheels & good clean of the hubs should allow for 0.5mm, thanks again

for replying,

Adrian.
