Hi folks looking at doing another Mids meet, hopefully with more of us there this time!  

 

Looking at this as location: ROADKING HOLLIES (MIDLANDS), M6 JUNCTION 12, A5 WATLING ST, WS11 1SB

 

just checking when everyone thinks we should do it?  I reckon this Sunday would be good, thoughts?  I am going to check with them as they seemed OK when I enquirer before, but just need to know numbers.  Say 1100 meet?

would love to but its a 2 and a half hour journey for moi :(

Hey, I literally just joined. I'm from Bham, and I would like to do a car meet.. I'm new to all this, so I'm hoping to learn more... Last car meet i ever participated in was a Nissan Skyline car meet, i went along with my friend who owned the car.

 

Anyway, reason why I am looking into this is because, only on friday 3rd of june 16 i was driving around five ways and i saw a few nice polos together, i didnt know if it was a car meet or a coincidence, i didnt drive towards them, i pulled off towards highgate on the island.

Yes we need a different location, ideas please.  

We have the rolling road day in Brierly hill and can discuss it there for those of you attending.  I think between now and then, if we could do some investigating of car parks/venues that would be great.

 

Toys r us, junc 2, M5, Oldbury already has loads but has a pub over the road that we could ask about?

@JBMK2 has suggested Wall island nr Lichfield as a starter.  There is a MCDonalds on the Birmingham Rd just off the island.  Post code WS14.

 

thinkng of having a blast down there earlish Saturday morning.  Who wants to meet?  If it's a goer then we could set something up properly.  Only thing we have to be careful of is car cruising claim as Staffs police are red hot on it.  As long as we are not doing anything stupid and just meet up for a bite to eat and a milkshake we should be ok.

I'm pretty sure there's a place near me that will host; it has a burger van, can hold ~30 cars, close to M1 and country roads.

 

If I make arrangements and promotional stuff will you guys help spread the word? Facebook, word of mouth, forums...

Going to move Polos & Dubs forward into June, giving it time for planning. Where is the meet you have put up? Perhaps you could contact me via PM? I'm not getting notifications and came across this post by chance.

Doesn't look like she's going to be on the road until 22nd May. Looking like Sunday the 25th June would be the best day for a meet; we can always do a Thursday night Tesco car park in the meantime if needs be.
