I have a mk2 Coupe S that I'm breaking, parts available are....

 

Full set of un-etched green tinted glass - £40

De - badged tailgate with removed boot lock and wiper - silver - £50

Rear wiper motor and arm - £20

Rear Volkswagen / VW & Polo Coupe badges - £15

Arch trims and sill covers - front panel trim not included - £40

Dash - £30

G40 Clocks (160mph) showing 80k - £40

G40 LUK 4 Paddle Clutch and Heavy Duty Cover with bearing, only done around 4k - £200

Standard G40 Flywheel - £40

Doors (some rust to the bottoms, not major) - £40 each

Bonnet (again, some surface rust on the underneath at the front) - £40

Fuel Cap flap - £10

Front seats - later grey with blue / red / green tartan pattern, driver side lifter cable broken - £40 the pair

Gear stick and rod - £20

Black carpet - £20

Black sun visors - £10 the pair

Coupe S Clocks surround with red line - £30

Coupe S Steering wheel with silver trim - £60

Interior Mirror - £5

Interior trim, like heater knobs, mirror adjuster knobs etc - message me for prices

Front bumper (some holes cut for the intercooler that I was using, just under numberplate) - £20

Seat Ibiza 1.8T intercooler (plastic ends) - £20

Parts are still on the car, so will need to be removed if needed, the car is 30miles away from me in a workshop, so will be stripping it mainly on weekends.

I'm new to the forum but been around in the background for a little while now, basically I'm restoring/modding my S Coupe and could do with a fair few bits if you still have them? Id be interested in:

Both front wings (if straight & fairly good nick)

Both Doors potentially, I wouldn’t need the glass though if you want to sell that separately

Front headlights – if they are the round type

Arch trims and sill covers

Side rubbing strips (if you have them)

The glovebox – if it still has the door on, so many times I've found a polo at the breakers and its either missing or the door has broken off!

Hi J, the only bits I can offer are the doors, the headlights and the sill and arch trims. The car was missing the glovebox and side strips when I bought it an d the wings are rotten unfortunately.

Hi Gary,

 

That's a shame about the wings and glovebox, they where at the top of my list really. I will still have the doors, headlights and sill and arch trims though, if that's alright? I could even do with the black headlining but I know you would have to pop the glass out to properly remove it and even then whether it comes out in one piece is another matter. I guess ill leave it up to you as to whether its worth your time?

Don't suppose there is any chance of picking the bits up this Sunday? I'm heading down from Wales for the Beaulieu autojumble you see so will be down in that neck of the woods so to speak.

Hi Carl, no postage isn't included. To be honest I think I've priced these parts at a more than reasonable level. The cluster has sold anyway mate.

No you didn't and my reply probably came across rude, apologies for that. I sold it the other day for £15 posted. I think I have a LHD cluster going spare, would you be interested in that?

Would you post the fuel flap to a TR8 address? Total price?

Hi do you have the screws that secure the coolant expansion tank? and the bolt that holds the dipstick tube to the engine on the head?

EDIT: clutch cable if you got one? the plastic end is cracked on mine

Yes it's got the fog light instead of the reverse. Depends what you want it to look like, some people like the fog lights on both sides, I'm not a fan personally.
