My polo is currently about a mile away from where the polo show is held, just never bothered driving her down :/ I was thinking this year of taking her before I get it transported up to Scotland however she has just sprung a fuel leak and I am in need of getting a new fuel tank.

 

Is there any chance of anyone going to the show having one that would fit?? it has to be a 36 litre and not a 42...

I have a tank off an 1986 mk2, don't think it looked any different to the one off the mk3 so it's probably a 42 litre. Do they definitely not fit? Is it just the hand brake cables that are different? As I'm sure I've got a set of used ones too.

I've managed to get hold of a 36 ltr one so hopefully it will be delivered in a couple of weeks.
