Torque settings

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm planning on fitting some lowering springs on my car but am a little unsure of where to find the torque settings for the bolts I detach when refitting will these be in the handbook that came with the car or will I find these somewhere else

thanks in advance for replies

You won't find the torque figures in the car handbook, you'll need a workshop manual like Haynes, I'm guessing you have a 9N3 ?? if so I'll pull the details from the dealers manual.

That's excellent nige thanks it makes it look really complicated from that drawing though lol. Is there one for the rear as well? Where could I get one of these manuals?

Sorry forgot about the rear.

You can get it on ebay it's called ElsaWin it covers all VAG cars from 1995/6 to date if you install all the options (80+ Gb !!) but it can be a pain to install and unless it says in the advert it doesn't work with Win 10
