6n seats into a breadvan

Featured Replies

Hi polo people. Hope you're all amazing. Just wanted some conformation if that's okay. Been donated front and back seats from a 6n. Possibly 6n2. I'm looking at putting them in my mk2 bready. From the homework i've done, looks like i just need to adjust the back of the runners to fit the fronts and weld in the bracket for the split rear bench. Is that the case or is it waaaay more involved that that?

Thanks for stopping by and any advice you can give. Take it easy.

Yeah, it's just the outer side that needs to be cut and moved inwards. The inner and front points are in the right place. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi I currently have these seats in my breaddy:

fronts and backs installed, the rears are pretty easy to install, a bracket will be needed to attach the bottoms and the backs i just screwed to the existing panel but obviously won't split.

Fronts I cut the outside runner and  welded and bolted it up, no problems, been running them for over a year they fit very nice and a lot nicer than the originals

Cool. Thanks dude. Mine aren't as swanky as that but still nicer than what i got at the moment.

@JamesGeorge does the outside runner need to be moved further in so it fits? I've got a set of 6n2 GTI seats that I can't shift so I may as well try and fit them.
