Hi all, some b*&^%d decided to try and steal my Mk2 Breadvan; using a crow bar and then an attempt at hot wiring.

 

Fortunately they were completely incompetent and couldn't get it going (immobilised Derrrrrr!)

 

Unfortunately they have destroyed the drivers door and surrounding bodywork, smashed the ignition cowling and chopped the wiring about.

 

Anyone got a drivers door in good condition? Any colour and either a full door or stripped is fine.

 

Also a black plastic ignition cowling (both halves please)

 

Preferably as far north as possible as I'm based in Edinburgh!

Hey Hammer, sorry to hear your news. Can't help you with the door as I'm looking for one myself.

However, I am after the upright between the quarterlight and the winding window - did they damage that??

Not as far as I know, however they levered the whole of the window frame open so it's likely to be bent some where along it. 

 

I'll let you know if I get a spare when I source a new door.

OK so I've sourced a door, I just need the plastic ignition housing.
