Air conditioner blower turns on and off by its own

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I have a 2006 9N3 1.4petrol with climatronic

When i turn my AC on it blows air for like a minute then it stops for another minute then it starts again and so on.

also on low speeds it nearly doesnt blow any air, and I ran a diagnostic test and it gave a 4F9 which is as far as I know the blower.

My question is, could the problem be with the blower resistor ?

Thanks.

Thanks for your answer,

yeah I'm pretty sure its low on gas, but this problem occurs even when its on ECON which as far as i know does not need the condenser to operate normally, or am I wrong?

Yes econ is to switch it off in that case could be the heater controls have you tried to unplug then reconnect see if that does anything
