Well, I seem to have slipped through the net regarding the welcome posts. I've joined because I've just bought a metallic black mk9 3 door GTI with no extras, who needs them with that fantastic little 1.8 engine? I also drive a lightly modded mk5 Jetta TDI Sport. Err...my real name is Tam, I'm 43 and I live near Glasgow. I can't think of what else to say except hello. Cheerio.

      Jetta is an awesome mile muncher, great torque etc but that BKD diesel engine is noisy compared to the diesels that came just after.
