Iv owned my 6n for polo 2 years now, thought I make a build thread to show the progress..

 

 

May 2014.. I first got the polo

 

 

shiny things

 

First mod lowered and side  strips removed

 

6N2 black cloth seats

 

lenso BBS Rep

 

Reps on and 16v bumpers Front and Rear

 

 

Project and my old daily stanced Corsa D

 

Private Plate -  

Players show

 

 

test fitting 6n2 roof rails much better then the rubber ones

 

striped out because race car  

 painted all the door cards to match new seats  

 

MK3 recaros retrimed in creamy leather

Dropped off at the body shop for some smoothing and colour coding

Bought my self some proper wheels OZ Turbo 15" and a proper daily Polo 6r GTI aka PUP

Front bumper smoothed and in primer

Shinny bits for the rebuild of the OZ

Front bumper smoothed with gti splinter and 6n2 boot smoothed

After only 3 months and 1000miles I was feed up with my air ride was noisey had a few issues and ruined the way the car drove... Mainly due the 2 way Manual set up it was running I could have easily fixed it my getting v2 but funds wouldn't allow

So the bags where removed and coilovers bolted back on

To be honest it was only 15mm lower aired out to what it was static so wasn't that bothered and drove like a go kart again

So this what the last time the car looked like this after that the car sat on my parents drive till about October 2015 when I moved out and sold the seats the wheels and air ride :(

After the car sitting there for 4 months I final got my self a garage put one seat in it and jumped it off a lawn mower and got it tucked away in a warm garage awaiting the next stage...

Looking good mate, great colour for a 6n when done right!

Love that colour, and that interior really does make the colour pop. Great work!

Interior is sweet. Colour...sweet. Stance...sweet. wheels...sweet. it's lush. Only thing not my cup of tea is the rear number plate location. Keep up the good work

That is looking great, I love pistachio green 6ns and this is one of the best I've seen, looking forward to seeing what the next stage brings.
