Music in the MK2

Featured Replies

Hello guys!

My mk2 has really small, and only 2 speakers in the rear, and i would like to improve the audio quality in the car.

Is there any way to put more speakers in the car without cutting ugly holes in the door panels and etc. ?

Also i would like to insulate the car from the engine noise.

Any wallet friendly advice would be great :)

Thanks a lot

Hi I've just upgraded my 6x4s in the rear shelves then made speaker boxes for under the front seats in my mk2 polo. But in my last mk2 polo I kept original speakers in the rear shelves and dash, but built pods for the sides of the boot for powered 6x9's (amp mounted on the back of the rear seat).

Both ways don't involve cutting door cards, dash or even parcel shelf!

Hope this helps
