I'm  going to be getting a mk2 breadvan soon and I've found these 60/80 lowering springs...

Will I be able to use those on the standard shocks? Or would it be possible to do 80/80 on standard shocks?

 

And will it be simple enough to fit them myself?

I would not go any lower than 40mm on standard shocks as I think you be asking to much , I would also replace the old shocks with new ones as you don't know how long or even if ever been changed.. By the time you spent on new standard shocks and lowering springs you best get a cheap lowering shock and spring set of ebay..
