Make me some offers people, resonable ones please not stupid

thank you

I don't like to do this, but the engine you have for sale is very very overpriced. You can pick up a whole GT engine and all the parts to make it run for half of that or even less

Going rate is about £50 unfortunatley which is why you haven't had any offers. It's not a desirable engine and you can buy a whole car for £500 too

That's fair enough but it is a reconditioned engine, what would you say a reasonable price is then for a reconditioned polo coupe engine?

Sorry, it's probably not what you want to hear, but to be honest, I think Wizardman's about right. From what you've put, it's had a partial top end rebuild, belt and some seals, but not a full recon. I'd personally be a bit cagey about an engine that's been sat for any length of time with no oil in as the cam and followers do like to rust if they're left dry.

You can pick up a complete Polo for under £500 and £50 gets you all the parts you need to do that rebuild. Just saying.
