for sale my 1983 mk1 golf Gti . £3250

Brought this about 18 months ago and its been my daily ever since . Its been a grate little rolling project and mechanics wise is now fully done with a massive list of new parts . Unfortunately its over selected 3rd gear and stuck there shortly after replacing the gearbox with a low milage correct code box and rebuilding the top end.  I dont have the time or money to fix it at the moment so its up for sale so i can get back on the road maybe buy some bits for my 58beetle thats been an 8 year project so far.. box wise £100-150 secondhand an afternoon or the same ££ again to fit it.

Bad bits
*Paint very Badly painted buy previous owner, runs, orange peel and some rust spots coming through on the bonnet . could be salvaged and made presentabul with a sand and mop. but the bonnet would need respraying .
*front tyres are getting low
*front seats are sad drivers bolster is torn and the stitching has come away on the passanger back rest . rear seat is ok .
* missing the drivers side under dash tray.
*Passanger door handle is broken after someone broke into it replaced the handle with a repo one that broke aswell been keeping an eye out for a set of genuine ones.

so to sum up it  looks good from a distance and is grate fun to drive needs a loving home to fix her box and give her a paint and go driving. mot is up at the end of july but no reason it wouldn't go through another fine .

if it dosent sell i will sort the box next month and put a ticket on it and amend the price .
