thanks a lot.. but i really like my wiper! car looks a bit different from those pictures now, will update it as soon as i put on my colour coded splitter

Cars sweet, I'm fancying some black rims now! Did you have any problems lowering it 60? anything have to be modded or removed?

it's been fine until you put chunky tyres on. I had low profile ones on different rims and they didnt scrub at all. But as I don't want to scuff my rims i got a set of 50s on and the back scrubs if more than 2 people in the car and/or when going over humps at over 20

Looks sweet, inspired me to get some black rims for mine!!

like it a lot.

currently in search of a 75bhp black 1.4 with 3doors.

plan to whack on the black street octane wheels as soon as i get it.

what size tyres did you have trouble with?

I'm also planning the 60mm drop.

cheers.

Hi, I have the same model as you and was wonder if adding a gti gear box would help the 0-60. I was thinking that a gti box would mean one less gear change before 60? Less changes = faster time...

Are they 14's?

Does the front scrub?

that is stupidly nice, good job.

what does stupidly nice mean? :retard:

haha it means really nice, obviously not heard that one before :unibrow:

Very nice car mate, like i said on scott's 6n2 valver, an original gti spoiler would have looked better IMO as there isnt a gap between the boot lid and the spoiler, and the brake light would have been on the outside intead of in the car :smirk:

60mm all round looks good though, i think that will be my choice, how much and where did you get your kit from? and, have you told your insurance company as i have just claimed (write off  ) and dnt really want to declare mods :ninja:

* actually the spoiler looks good on the pics you posted, i picked up on it from your avatar... smoked rear lights would look real smooth too :)

Anyway a clean, well deserved 4 stars from me :D

do you know what i dont lik black polos but i like this one  quick question did u ha to replace your bonnet as you put on a kamei grill? cos the bonnets are rounded round (lol) the VW badge hehe

  • 2 weeks later...

yeah good question..has the round bit been filled in and sprayed?or have u just chnaged the bonnet??

  • Author

i just got the bit provided with the grill sprayed same colour as the car and it's stuck on

i got the kit off german ebay (for DM DUBGTI)

the alloy wheels are 15's and only the rear scrubs as I have put on quite chunky tyres at the moment, with 195/45/15s it will 100% not scrub
