I want to change my gear stick on the polo 6n2. Anyone know the thread size?

    Yep, push on. It's held down with a metal clamp under the gaitor that's crimped closed just use a flat held screwdriver in the gap and force it open and it will just slide off.  Most aftermarket

I think they're are push on? Memory is saying the 6N was as I had a 6n2 golf ball on it...

Yep, push on. It's held down with a metal clamp under the gaitor that's crimped closed just use a flat held screwdriver in the gap and force it open and it will just slide off. 

Most aftermarket gear knobs use small Allen key bolts to hold them in, the threaded part is usually an insert.
