So I'm trying to remove the standard radio from a 9n3. The keys are from Halfords and correct shape but won't click in as I believe they should. 

Any help or advice ASAP would be great! Makes no sense as apparently people have removed these head units with cut up credit cards?!

There are two types of keys for the standard fitted radios

 

For the Alpha, Beta & Gamma you need two of these

 

 

For the RCD 200 you need 4 of these

 

The ones for the Alpha, Beta & Gamma just slide into the slots until they catch, then pull the radio out, the RCD200 ones need to be inserted with the "notch" towards the centre of the radio until they click, then pull the radio out
