Hi everyone, I'm wanting to take the wing mirrors off of my polo to respray them. Is there a way of taking the little corner panel off on the inside without breaking or damaging it. I think it needs to come off to get to the bolts. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

It's a push fit into the door. If you can get your fingers in then try that but a soft lever made of plastic would be ideal. The plastic may be brittle because of its age so take is slowly. The screws for the mirror are underneath it.
