What can you do with vag-com other than diagnostics 

 

found out how to turn on and off the beeping when locking and unlocking but not much out there for a 6n2 gti

On the 6N2 there is very little in the way of "options" you can activate/delete, it's only on 2005> that the "options" list gets better :)

Basically yes, if you've got Xenon lights with the automatic range control, you use VCDS to align the headlight aim, if you replace the ABS unit, you can put that into service mode to correctly bleed the system,
