Mk2f headlight adjuster

Featured Replies

Hi all I need some help obtaining the black plastic sockets that the screw adjusters fit in on my headlights. They have typically broke and I need a couple. They push into the light unit and attach to the plastic frame via the metal screw adjuster. Help !!!

Will have a look mate !

I will have a look tomorrow. It was difficult to see in the drawing but are they the same as the round headlight adjusters?

Not sure mate they are black hard plastic socket type grommet/binge. The threaded part screws into the frame and the socket pushes into the round part on the glass headlight unit. Would appreciate your help.

I meant Bung not binge ?? Bloomin predictive !

I wish I could attach some photos, because I don't know how, but if you could get some photos that would be great. If they are the same as the round headlight then I have about 4 spare but need to be restored and may not be in a better condition compared to yours . If you read my post about restoring them then you could send them to me provided that the plastic is still in good condition except for the plastic thread. I am not looking to make money from this. I am just happy to help out. All I use is one rivnut per adjuster and some glue.
