In the boot there should be a sticker on it it will state all the codes for the car including the colour code. If you are unsure then take a picture of the sticker and someone will be able to confirm what the colour code is.

Sweet glad I saw this going to my dads tonight got the 1st MOT tomorrow in Mintlaw against your better advice sorry.

I will see if I can work it out from the sticker and take a photo like you say if I can't.

Thanks.

Had a look and its "Montana Green" when I looked up the code:  LB6Z.

MOT failed but I expected that, it needs a few things:

- McPherson strut on one side has failed.

- Bulb holder needed for number plate light

- Number of emissions failures but the guys at the garage said this is because there are several leaks in the exhaust causing air to be drawn in and I will need to take the exaust off and refit / reseal it properly but theres nothing wrong with the actual exaust itself in terms of wear it looks new so probably just fitted badly by the last owner.

I have 10 days so the race is on!
