I recently bought Strongflex polyurethane bushes for my 2f which are the spit type. I've read mixed reviews about replacing the standard inners when running arb blocks.

 

Anyone had issues with premature wear of the bush after doing this?

Hi i have heard of inner polys dieing when being pulled forwards, if yours fail i know the powerflex purple inners are fine with being pulled forwards as ive ran them for over a year, if yours last would be cool to know,

I've ran powerflex "black" ones for a couple of years, they still look in good condition.

 

They do make it a little harder to fit the TCA's to the body, and compress together fine once tightened up.

 

As long as the inside of the TCA is smooth they should be good :)

Really G40 TCAs with the rose jointed inner is what you want.

I'll fit them with plenty of the grease they supplied and hope for the best

 

G40 arms would be better but I can't justify spending that much

What is the difference between g40 and gt TCA or cl arms ?

g40 ones have rose joints instead of a lump of rubber

 

google rose joint - its a metal ball joint thing with very little slop in it

Yup as said G40 arms have a rose joint on the inner part. Only the G40s had these, the GT and below all had the rubber bushings.
