Hi all,

I am planning on buying an alarm for my 9n and installing it myself, i have all the tools ill need im just not sure on the wiring in the car itself, as in which colour wire does what and which ones ill need, ive done some digging online and cant seem to find much to help me, does anyone have any tech notes or something they could show me that would tell me which wires im going to need?

Any help is appreciated!

The Haynes manual does cover the basic wiring, but if you let me know what wires in particular you need I'll be able to give the colours you need.

From going through this what i need is

Battery (+)

Battery (-)

Headlights

Power window (-)

Trunk (-)

Acc/on (+) ignition key ?

Foot break light

Side door switch

There is also an engine cut off relay circut which im not sure what that would need, thanks again!

Unit             Car

Red             Red on ignition switch  12v live supply

Black           Brown    Ground

White           Black/Green on ignition switch  12v "S" contact (acc)

Blue             Brown/Yellow  Divers door switch

Orange        Black/Red on brake pedal switch

Brown          Black/White & Black Green Indicators

Pink             Black/Yellow Horn switched 12v

The power window unless you start messing about with adding resistors you'll not be able to use that, same with the trunk wire, The engine cutout I'd ignore that also as you have an immobilliser fitted so it's not required
