Been searching all over and can't find a proper answer for this, are all transverse 1.8t engines engine mounts the same? I'm wanting to put a aum 1.8t engine in my polo gti 1.8t which is a bjx engine code. Finding a new lower mileage engine as I'm going big bhp so forging it. Thanks any help is appreciated

Silly question maybe but why not forge the BJX? Surely when the rods are being changed you could fit new piston rings and get a re hone.
