I've never replaced a set of TCA's before - has anyone got tips/advice? I have a Haynes manual but as we all know they can over-complicate things.

i would jack the whole front end up 

 

arb off 

 

undo the fixings , might need to hammer onto the old tca downwards to make it come out of the strut    inners on first , then ball joints , hook each end of the arb in , second end might need you to use your foot for leverage , then lower the car and the arb mounts should line up

 

check all the bolts once its on its wheels

 

poly/nylon bushes on the arb end are worth doing while its apart 

Thanks Steve - currently doing what I can with limited budget, although once it has an MOT I will be more inclined to spend out on a few upgrades. I have a brand new pair of TCA's sitting on the shelf doing nothing :)

As above - no prisoners. ARB off and new arms on then fit arb into arms. Fit ARB to chassis last.
