Just ordered the 'Volkswagen' and the 'polo' badge for the back of the polo. Does anyone know of an easy and safe way to remove the old ones without damaging the paintwork!

Gently heat the badges with a hairdryer/hot air blower then use some nylon fishing line/dental floss behind the badges to cut the adhesive, you will then be left with a sticky residue, I've found a rag soaked in petrol and an old credit card to scrape it off, or you can buy a "toffee wheel" to go in an electric drill to rub the residue off.

not so on a mk2....theyre just clipped on , get your finger nail under the egde and pop them off
