6n2 turns over but fails to start

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I'm after a little bit of help with my 6n2.

The car turns over fine but is failing to start, it started when sprayed with 'easy start' in the air intake pipe.
I have done searches on the internet and checked all of the comments that people have said but that failed to do anything.
We have checked all of the sensors and the relays are going to be tested tomorrow, I will add the results.

We have been told the fuel is tracking back but we cannot find any pin holes in the fuel lines or leaks.
The battery wasn't fully charged but we where using a jump pack, I will test tomorrow evening when the relays are back with a fully charged battery.

Please let me know if you know what's wrong with this car because it's just sitting there.

Thanks

Aaron.

First Welcome to the forum.

When was it last properly serviced inc a new fuel filter ? Have you checked for any stored fault codes ?

The fact that it started with Easy Start means that the ignition system is working, at least to some extent, leaving the fuel system or lack of compression as the main suspects.

I don't like Easy Start - I've seen too many cylinder heads cracked by using the stuff.

Regards
