Hi all, 

wondering if anyone can help me with this as I'm at a dead end. 

 

I have put an AVY engine into a mk2 and I'm using the standard GTI EFI system, everything has gone to plan so far. With the wiring I have shortened most of it to fit and this includes the pedal sensor wiring. 

However, somehow in the process I have mixed up the wires. 

I have reconnected them as per the elsawin wiring diagrams, but there is still no signal. The engine will run (albeit very rough) but I cannot Rev the engine with the sensor. 

With vagcom connected and under group 062 there is no reading no matter the position of the sensor wheel. 

I have checked the wiring is going from pin to pin properly and the resistance across each end is super low. 

 

Does anyone happen to know how to test the sensor, or even better, does anyone have a GTI loom they could please check? I'm happy to supply beer money for your time.
