1.3 NZ engine conversion with GT cam, ported polished head

Featured Replies

For sale I have my 1.3 NZ motor, taken out of a 85k car. This is a multi-point injection engine, very similar to the GT lump. It has a GT cam, ported and polished head, brand new oil pump, all new oil seals, sump gasket etc. Serviced every 5k without fail with high quality oil. Oil pressure and compression is strong.

The engine has been sat for over a year, so would recommend doing the timing belt. Valves were a little tappy when I pulled it out, might just need a good run but wouldn't hurt to replace them. Also needs a really good clean/degrease and a repaint as it's looking pretty tired.

Comes with everything except the alternator. This includes ECU, loom, mounts, 4 speed gearbox, driveshafts, manifold, downpipe.

Looking for £180. Collection from Bredhurst, Kent

Hi mate. I was chucking the box in as a freebie really cos it's not really worth anything on its own. I'll listen to any offers though. Thanks

55bhp standard. I haven't had it on the dyno but it has to be running the same power as a GT now, around 75bhp.

If you still have this and are willing to sell the GT cam on its own i will have it off you in a heartbeat.

Hi mate yeh I think I'm going to break this engine now as a few people have asked for parts.

£55 posted for the GT cam.
